Surgsci's Testing Center has Obtained the Nationally Recognized Laboratory CNAS Qualification Certificate

Recently, the testing center of Shenzhen SurgSci Medical Ltd. passed the qualification review and conformity assessment of the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS or National Accreditation Service for short), and successfully obtained the CNAS qualification certificate of the nation accreditation laboratory.

The testing center of Shenzhen SurgSci Medical Ltd. started the application of CNAS accreditation in January, 2022. After a year of careful preparation, it has gone through layers of review including intentional application, formal application, review preparation, document review, on-site review, and accreditation approval.

Through document review, on-site test, authorized signatory assessment and technical personnel’s questioning, the experts of the review team unanimously recognized the operation of the quality assurance system, the technical testing ability of the certification project, and the guarantee testing work impartiality, etc., and all application contents are approved for recommendation.

As assessed by CNAS, SurgSci complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 “Accreditation Criteria for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories” and has the service ability to undertake medical device inspection and testing. The successful acquisition of the CNAS qualification certificate of the National Accreditation Laboratory indicates that SurgSci has reached the international accreditation standard in terms of hardware facilities, testing capabilities and management level of medical device testing, and has the technical ability to carry out testing and calibration services in accordance with the corresponding accreditation standards. It can also issue test data results stamped with the CNAS National Laboratory Accreditation Mark and the ILAC International Mutual Recognition Joint Mark, which has international authority and credibility.
