Trocar access is a technique used in laparoscopic surgery to place the initial trocar. This approach lets each tissue layer be visualized before insertion, helping to prevent any organ injury or air leaks at the trocar site, even for obese patients.
The Endopass visible tip optical disposable laparascopic trocar has been CE marked and is produced in an ISO 13485 quality management system. It is a single-patient-use product used for puncturing the abdominal cavity and supplying gas during laparoscopic surgery.
We offer seven different sizes of disposable optical trocars with visible tips, ranging in diameter from 5 mm, 10 mm, and 12 mm, and in length from 75 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm. All of these are made of medical grade stainless steel and feature a tri-beveled tip that is designed to show the tip of the trocar through the laser imaging system in the abdominal cavity.
The thread-shaped surface of the trocar is designed with inverted tooth, increasing the sleeve fixation onto the abdominal wall and reducing any sliding when instruments are entering or withdrawing from the sleeve.
The none-bladed tip is created to separate tissues instead of cutting, minimizing the damage done. The transparent conical head is great for providing a clear visual feedback when the endoscope is entering through the obturator, thus avoiding blindness insertion and potential organ injuries.
The tunnel lock is easy to use and effectively secure the endoscope from sliding, providing stable visualization.
Replaced the original plastic needle is a stainless steel one, for a more reliable trocar.
